Tools Needed:

Safe means of lifting and supporting the vehicle: jack and jack stands, wheel ramps, or lift.

Torque Wrench

Socket wrench or breaker bar

19mm socket

17mm socket

6mm allen key

Begin by properly supporting the vehicle in the air, as the RMM is located under the vehicle(CAUTION: allow the vehicle to cool down fully before attempting any work)

Locate the factory RMM assembly, connecting the transmission to the subframe.

Not necessary but helpful: Place a jack or support under the transmission, to reduce movement of the engine while removing and installing the mounts.

Begin by loosening and removing the two 17mm bolts holding the mount in place (blue) .  Hold aside the bolt marked green, as it will be reused.

Next remove the three 19mm bolts securing the transmission adapter block (red).

With all the bolts removed, carefully remove the RMM and transmission block from the car.

Take the DM RMM and place it on the transmission block as shown, and insert the provided bolt and washers through the mount in the orientation shown.  Hand thread on the supplied nut (note: of the three washers supplied, the two washers with larger holes go under the bolt head, and the washer with smaller hole behind the nut):

Place the mount into the slot in the subframe, line up the bolt hole with the hole in the mount, and insert the 17mm factory bolt as noted prior. Thread the bolt in slightly, as to insure the threads engage, and allowing for some sideways slack, before tightening to spec.

Line up the tans block with the corresponding holes in the transmission, and carefully thread in all three 19mm bolts(note: this may require some movement of the motor to get the holes to align properly).

With all the bolts in place first tighten the three 19mm bolts of the transmission block to 80ft/lbs, next the 17mm bolt securing the DM mount to the subframe to 65ft/lbs

Finally tighten the 17mm nut securing the DM RMM to the trans block to 25ft/lbs, use a 6mm allen socket or key on the bolt head to prevent the bolt from spinning.

Install complete! Remove all tools from underneath and safely lower the vehicle. Start the car allowing time for it to properly warm up, and go for a not too brisk test drive. Check the torque of all the hardware once the vehicle has cooled down, to ensure no components have loosened. We recommend checking again after 1000 miles.
