Drawing on our expertise in the Mazdaspeed3 platform, we have successfully adapted our innovative rear motor mount design for the MK3 Focus ST/RS. Despite the removal of material to accommodate the Focus ST, we have rigorously tested and validated the strength of the mount through FEA analysis and track testing.

Crafted from solid, alloyed aluminum, the RMM is machined to precision and equipped with top-of-the-line Energy polyurethane bushings. The bushings are arranged to only experience compressive loads. No twisting, no bending, and no edge loading ensure that the bushings will have a long and productive life.

Note: With this mount there will be added NVH over stock, as well as a slight break-in period for NVH to settle. One bushing has a relief shaved off, this is to allow fitment on multiple vehicles, and does not affect performance. This mount does not fit the MK3 non-ST or non-RS manual Focus.

Fast and easy

Seems good so far

Only have a about 50 miles on it since install, but can definitely tell a difference in feel of the car. Only a little bit of extra vibration, but nothing too crazy when cruising.

Give it time!

She had me rattlin in the first half, not gonna lie...
Install was simple, straightforward. She vibrated way more on startup than I expected but not horrible. First few rides she would resonate a good amount in the rpm range. I thought I was gonna need to buy another mount. After about 500 miles it really tamed down to pretty much noticeable on takeoff. Really every mount I've used had some type of resonance that made the exhaust seem louder and a little more overall noise, but the Damond isn't bad at all. Not overly aggressive for a daily. They do break in quite a bit, so don't get discouraged and give it some miles.

Couldn't Be Happier

I had recently purchased my MS3 and everything was completely bone stock at 100k miles, RMM included. It almost felt wrong to accelerate with how much the engine was moving. After installing the Damond RMM (and some other bits and pieces) the car feels extremely solid under throttle, a complete night and day difference. The startup NVH was a little higher than anticipated with the 80a bushings but some of that can be attributed to how blown out the OEM mount was. I have absolutely zero complaints and would consider this the best bang for your buck modification if you're still running the OEM RMM.

Great First Mod

This is the first mod I've done to my MPS3 and it is probably the best first mod to do. Wheel hop is gone and shifts feel better. Definitely recommend. Went with the street bushings and vibration isn't bad at all.
