Focus ST Rear Motor Mount
The Damond Motorsports Rear Motor Mount is a must have for any car enthusiast seeking to plant power more directly to the pavement. Taking what we’ve learned on the Mazdaspeed3 platform, we have successfully integrated our formidable rear motor mount design over to the Focus ST. While material was removed to allow fitment on the Focus ST, we validated the strength of the newly designed mount with FEA analysis and track testing.

The Damond Motorsports RMM starts life as a solid chunk of alloyed aluminum. Once it’s machined to size we add a pair of off the shelf bushings sourced from the market leader of polyurethane bushings. These bushings are arranged so they only see compressive loads, as they are designed for. No twisting, no bending, and no edge loading mean that the bushings will have a long and productive life.
Available in Black or Gold anodize with Black or Red bushings. Included are high grade fasteners.
Note: With this mount there will be added NVH over stock, as well as a slight break-in period for NVH to settle.

has alittle vibration you feel on the floor but thats after you just put it on. but for the amount of traction it adds it is completely worth it gives more traction and allows you to launch harder. along with the you can feel the engine so if there's something wrong you will feel it. great product highly recommend
This rear motor mount is certainly made of quality material and constructed to fit perfectly. I had no issues installing the part using the online instructions. I had harsh vibrations upon initial startup, but this has slowly reduced to a manageable amount of vibrations when starting in first gear and when accelerating in any gear at low RPMs. If you operate your engine at lower RPMs in search of fuel economy, this may not be the best product for you. With that being said, there is a noticeable difference in how well power is applied to the wheels since installing this mount. I have very little wheel hop now and power delivery feels much more responsive compared to the previous lag in torque due to engine/trans rotation.
Got this for my ‘14 focus SE. after breaking other mounts with a poly insert that’s inside the subframe after many hard summers of autox launching this one by far feels the best. I know it will hold up just fine knowing the inner subframe part is solid and the bushings have been moved to the connecting bolt for the trans .
