Our Formidable Mazdaspeed3 Rear Motor Mount is now lighter, more compact, easier to install, and best of all... Now available at a lower price!

The Damond Motorsports Rear Motor Mount is a must have for any car enthusiast seeking to plant power more directly to the pavement.  While material was removed on this latest revision, we validated the strength of the newly designed mount with FEA analysis and track testing.  This new Mazdaspeed3 mount also happens to be the same mount we offer for the Focus ST & RS, which means we can offer it for a lower price than before.

If you're looking for a no compromise rear motor mount that will drastically reduce wheel hop and engine movement, improve shifting and clutch pedal feel, this is the mount for you.

The Damond Motorsports RMM starts life as a solid chunk of alloyed aluminum.  Once it’s machined to size we add a pair of off the shelf bushings sourced from the market leader of polyurethane bushings.  These bushings are arranged so they only see compressive loads, as they are designed for. No twisting, no bending, and no edge loading mean that the bushings will have a long and productive life.

The Damond Motorsports RMM specs:

  • Made in the U.S.A.
  • Machined aluminum anodized gold or black
  • All high grade fasteners and lock nuts
  • OTS Energy poly bushings

NEW! Bushing stiffness options!

  • Street 80a or Race 95a bushing stiffness now available
  • Street bushings are for those looking to keep added NVH to a minimum
  • Race bushings are for those wanting the best performance and least engine movement

Note: There is added NVH with this mount. One bushing has a relief shaved off, this is to allow fitment on multiple vehicles, and does not affect performance.

Firmed up car a lot.

I have an 11 speed3 with about 121k miles on it. This mount definitely made things feel a lot more firm/put together. Factory mount was torn and probably not even doing anything anymore. There is definitely noticeable noise/vibration over stock. You can hear everything. So if you don't like that or are one of those people that get paranoid over every little noise your car makes I do not recommend this for you. I mean you hear everything. Tire noise on the highway, the sound of your gears when downshifting, just random little hums and frequencies the rubber mount drown out stuff like that. It made my car drive a lot better. Shifting is way more precise now. I used to have a little slop between shifts, but that's mostly gone now. I've also put a couple 100 miles on this as I'm writing this review and the harshness is not nearly as noticeable. Not sure if I'm just used to it or it's taming down like others have said. Personally, I think it's a mix of both. Good mod for not a lot of money especially on an aging platform.

IF you don't mind some vibration its freaking awesome!

If you want to get rid of that gear shift kick, this is a good option, impossible to not feel the improvement.

Awesome product!

As usual great quality , awesome customer service and fast shipping easy install. The mount does produce vibration but it eases up after about 500 miles or so.

Not sure how I feel

So my Focus ST is stock, my stock RMM was gone, substantial knocking and slamming was way worst, so I decided to do a little upgrade instead of a oem replacement. It is my daily driver and I live in the city, unfortunately I rarely get to drive my car aggressively. Since I got the Damond RMM NVH is killing me lol, my RPMs are out of whack...during my daily city driving. The few times I get to drive aggressively trust me, the car feels planted, shifts feel concise and I have more confidence flooring it. However I do feel slight slamming if I shift aggressively which I thought would have been non existent now.
