Mazdaspeed EGR Block off and Delete
The Damond Motorsports EGR Block off and delete Kits are designed to block off or remove the exhaust gas re-circulation system of the 2.3L DISI, in the Mazdaspeed3, Mazdaspeed6, and CX-7.
The Damond Motorsports EGR block off plate was designed to the same dimensions of the EGR tube’s flange. This allows for the tube to be installed, along with the block off plate, and the OEM gasket, for a clean stock look. We also include a screw-in bung for the intake manifold connection of the EGR system, to eliminate the tube all together.
- Tube Block off kits come with a plate and bung, to remove or block off the EGR tube
- Valve Delete kits come with a plate, barb fitting, and hardware, to delete the EGR valve
- Full Removal kits contain both the Block off and Delete kits, to fully remove the EGR system
Note: This product is intended for off-road use only
Great product and price
First time buying anything from Damond Motorsports, love the quality and simplicity of the installation. One happy customer
Only issues I had were of my own doing, make sure the gasket goes on right the first time otherwise you do an unexpected coolant flush.
First product I've ever bought that was Damond. I hear always good things about them. Ordered my EGR Delete Kit and was very impressed with how nice and professional everything feels and looks. Definitely will be purchasing some more products from them soon!
overall great product, I do live in southern Canada where winters can get pretty cold, but I was honestly tired of dealing with the whole EGR system (getting gunked up) so i figured ill take the hit of the car taking a bit longer to warm up in the colder mornings, I mean whats the use of heated seats if you don't use them.
Installation was fairly easy, i dropped a lot of fluid fumbling around with the coolant line going from the EGR to the turbo, but that's my own fault, that was fairly easy. Getting the pipe off the intake manifold was a pain in the ***. I was doing my PCV valve so i had to take the whole thing off anyways and was super simple so I waited to do both at the same time.
