I used to have AWR side and trans mounts, Street Unit rear mount. And I had balance shaft delete. The vibes were just horrible. I wouldn't want to have passengers in the car as it was so embarrassing. I f'ed up the engine and hadn't driven the car in literally 5 years. I had it my garage. I finally decided to either poop or get off the pot and get the car built. I wanted a strong car, but, I wanted it to be a decent daily driver too. So, I switched the mounts to Damond, full set. And new engine I left the balance shaft installed. I simply drove it home, about 20 miles. But, the vibes were almost nonexistent.
Now, there is a little at idle, but then again, the engine idles a bit rough. Not bad, but a bit rough. I think the slight rough idle is because I have Kelford cams, 4" intake, JMF manifold, Corksport throttle body. All that is to allow mass quantities of air at power, but slightly sacrifices idle smoothness. The point I'm getting to, I think that if the engine was idling smooth, there would probably be literally no vibes at all. Literally literally none.
Now, I know that Damond's are generally regarded as the best, but, other people do seem to report more vibes than me. So, your mileage might vary somewhat. After I ordered the set, I read the reviews here of just the rear mount by itself, and several of the reviews indicated moderate vibes. I started to consider getting the CPE rear as at least some people say that is the best rear mount. But now, after experiencing the full Damond set, I am sold on it!
