1/2" or 3/8" long extension

18mm deep socket

15mm socket

1/4" drive socket wrench

1x TMM top battery mount attachment piece

1 x M6x20mm bolt

2 x M6x12mm bolt

2 x M6 lock nuts

(CAUTION: allow the vehicle to cool down fully before attempting any work)

Support the vehicle in the air, and then remove the undertray(if the undertray is not equipped, you may not need to lift the vehicle).

Place a jack underneath the end of the transmission as shown, with a soft material such as rubber or wood, as to not damage the transmission case, and apply a tiny bit of lifting pressure to support the transmission.

Loosen the negative battery terminal and removing the terminal from the battery.

Remove the intake. If you have an aftermarket intake, please refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions.

For the factory intake, slide the intake sensor red clip away from the connector and press the connector and pull to remove

loosen the 7mm hose clamp or use a flathead screwdriver

pry up on the front air scoop to release the scoop from the front core support

remove the airbox from the vehicle by pulling forcefully upwards (be cautious not to bump the yellow hood prop support)

Remove the battery

remove the small electrical clip from the negative terminal

remove the 2 x 10mm nuts for the battery tie down and remove the tie down

undo the positive battery terminal and remove the terminal from the battery

remove the battery

Remove the battery tray

First loosen and remove the screw clip securing the plastic ECU cover and remove the cover by pulling straight up

remove the ECU connectors. Press down on the small black tab (pink arrow); at the same time pull back on the connector bar (green arrow). Repeate this for the bottom connector as well.

Remove the 3 x 10mm bolts securing the battery tray to the lower battery tray bracket and carefully remove the tray from the vehicle. Take caution when removing the tray as to not damage the tubing or wiring above the tray

Remove the battery tray lower support bracket

Remove the 2 x 8mm or 10mm front bolts (pink circle)

Remove the 3 x 10mm nuts (green circle)

Remove the transmission mount

First loosen and remove the 3 x 18mm nuts securing the mount to the top of the transmission (green circle). Caution, the transmission may lower slightly. You may want to raise it a little with the jack to keep it supported, but try not to add pressure where it's lifting the mount.

Loosen and remove the 2 x 15mm frame bolts (pink circle)

Remove the mount

Clean the frame and transmission bracket of debris or dust

Place the Damond Motorsports Fiesta TMM in the vehicle and check that all the holes line up and that the mount is relatively level. Be sure that the welded area of the mount is not interfering with the transmission bracket.

Lightly thread in all the bolts and nuts (medium threadlocker is recommended; use the lower TQ values if using threadlocker).

Tighten the 3 x 18mm nuts first to 85-92lbs/ft

Tighten the 2 x 15mm bolts next to 60-66lbs/ft (you may need to lower the support jack first if the mount is raised above the frame)

Put a little medium strength threadlocker in the 3 mounting holes on the machined transmission base.

Please on the TMM top battery mount attachment piece and tighten the rearward 2 x M6x12mm bolts (pink circle), while making sure the front bolt hole is lined up with the machined base (green circle)

Next install the battery tray lower support bracket on top of the mount. Secure the bracket with the provided M6x20mm bolt (green circle) the 2 x 10mm lock nuts or 2 of the OE nuts removed prior (pink circles)

While there's still access to the shifter cables, the next step will be a shift cable reset.

Make sure the gear lever is in neutral

pull on the outsides of yellow clip to where the clip no longer securing the cable to the cable end (you can verify this by moving the cable end front and back)

place the gear lever into 4th gear

press in the yellow clip and confirm it is secured

run through the gears to ensure they all engage smoothly

Install all the remaining components in reverse of removal.

Congrats! You have finished the DM TMM install. We hope you enjoy all our mount has to offer. Note: there may be added NVH with the DM mount. We recommend checking the torque of all bolts/nuts again after 500 miles (if threadlocker was used, you may not need to do so).
