Mazdaspeed3 Transmission Motor Mount
Looking to plant power to the ground, reduce drivetrain slop, drastically lessen wheel hop, all while adding minimal NVH? Look no further, Damond Motorsports has the answer in the DM Transmission Motor Mount for the Mazdaspeed3.
The Damond Motorsports TMM design:
-The bushings are orientated properly to support the motor and absorb vibrations across the whole bushing.
-This allows us to use stiff bushings without increasing NVH to unbearable levels. Orientating the bushing carrier in a transverse manner further reduces NVH, as less stress is put on bushing flanges.
-Full length welded steel.
-CAD designed, and FEA, and street/track tested. You can't make enough power to break this thing.
The Damond Motorsports TMM specs:
-Machined aluminum bushing carrier, anodized gold or black
-Lower mount base and top base are high strength steel welded, and powder coated black
-All high grade fasteners, and nylon lock nuts
-OTS Energy poly bushings
-Minimal added vibes, along with lots of tire spinning instead of wheel hop.
Mount is solid. You can absolutely feel an improvement in shifting and in wheel hop / torque steer reduction. Minimal vibration added. Typical added transmission noise but even after being on the car for a week it is getting quieter. At idle seems like no added vibration over the factory mount.
Instantly felt the stiffness no more wheel hop love the mount.
I recently replaced the PMM with a Damond product with a tremendous difference made. Purchased this and the RMM to go with the PMM. With all pieces in place, wow! There is very little flex in everything now. Vibration and noise is actually better now than without these pieces, not sure if my mind is wanting it that way or if it really is, more miles and autocrossess to confirm this.
Another of many great products! Thanks Damond
Damond Motorsports mounts are the best engine/trans mounts out there! Don’t waste your time and money with mounts from other companies. DM is the only way to go! Superb quality!
Very easy install and parts look amazingly finished.
