Looking to plant power to the ground and drastically reduce drivetrain slop, all while adding minimal NVH? Look no further, Damond Motorsports has the answer in the DM Side Motor Mount Combo for the Mazdaspeed6.

The Damond Motorsports PMM/TMM design:

  • The bushings are oriented properly to support the motor and absorb vibrations across the whole bushing.
  • This allows us to use stiff bushings without increasing NVH to unbearable levels. Orienting the bushing carrier in a transverse manner further reduces NVH, as less stress is put on bushing flanges.
  • Full length welded steel bases, and top PMM/TMM pieces.
  • CAD designed, and FEA, and street/track tested. You can't make enough power to break this thing.

The Damond Motorsports PMM/TMM specs:

  • Made in the U.S.A.
  • Machined aluminum bushing carrier, anodized gold or black
  • Lower mount base and top bases are high strength steel, with a super thick gloss black powder coating
  • All high grade fasteners and lock nuts
  • OTS Energy poly bushings
  • Minimal added vibes

NEW! Bushing stiffness options!

  • Street 70a or Race 88a bushing stiffness now available
  • Street bushings are for those looking to keep added NVH to a minimum
  • Race bushings are for those wanting the best performance and least engine movement
  • Bushing selection currently only applies to the side mounts. In full mount sets, the rear mount uses the "race" bushings

Excellent

I haven't installed the transmission mount, but the passenger side mount replaced a shot stock mount. I was worried about stiffness, but my ride actually got smoother and the mount cured a lot of my rattles. The car feels a bit better under power as well probably because the engine isn't rocking all over the place. Used the street bushings.

Worth every cent

I haven’t put more than 1000 miles on these since install and would like to get some photos soon but after having replaced the oem transmission and passenger motor mounts with new oem mounts I could feel the engine moving and banging so I overnighted these and after pulling them again I saw the transmission mount had a good amount of damage. Put in the damond mounts, honestly the install was easier than the oem mounts not sure if that’s because this is my second time doing them or if it was the design that helped me there but they mount your engine and it’s not going anywhere once they are bolted in. Not much of an increase in vibrations unlike my roommates speed3 with an Amazon rmm. Quality part and great support from damond motorsports.

Unbelievable difference with zero downsides

I held off on getting these for a while, asking everyone I could about them. But I got sick of my engine flopping around so hard my cold pipe would pull itself off the throttle body.
I don’t regret these one bit. They aren’t even broken in yet and I think the only noticeable difference in noise and vibration is during startup and idling down. These are so ingeniously engineered by changing the entire way the stock mount is meant to pivot and be observed by the bushing, it allows all the small regular vibrations to wiggle themselves out like cruising on the highway, but hard acceleration is locked in place and puts the power DOWN.
I’ve done every Mount on the car now including the rear diffuser mounts + Sway bar and After installing these, I powered out of a banked corner LIGHTLY in second gear and it over steered like a RWD car. Simply put, it was the last piece of the puzzle to mitigating the weaknesses of the AWD system in This car.

Night and day difference coming from the 3 letter brand starting with J.

Switched from another brand's 80duro side mounts. The difference was night and day. The other mounts vibrated the dash so bad that the NVH was incredible. Switched to Damond mounts and it was so much quieter.

Don't get me wrong, it's still harsh compared to stock mounts (There's no way around that). There is no comparison to other brands.

When you need upgraded mounts you can't go wrong with Damond.
