Mazdaspeed Throttle Body Spacer
Need a nice clean setup to inject additional fluid into your air stream? Don't want to tap pipes on your car? Look no further.
The Damond Motorsports Throttle Body Spacer has six 1/8" NPT ports to hook up whatever you want to inject right before the intake manifold. It sandwiches between your throttle body and intake manifold and allows you to thread in multiple nozzles, lines, or injectors for as much as 800 hp of fuel! The spacer comes with all the hardware you need for an easy install, including bolts, washers, and all the plugs you'll need.
This spacer uses an o-ring on the throttle body side and stock throttle body gasket on the manifold side, so 1 OEM gasket is needed total(in most cases you can re-use your OEM gasket). Please select the option you need for additional gaskets. Supplied gaskets will be OEM Mazda gaskets.
Will work with stock TMIC on Mazdaspeed 3 2007-2013 and Mazdaspeed 6 2007. You will need to trim the cold side boost tube 16mm.
Will NOT work with Mazdaspeed6 stock cold pipe.
Injectors and/or nozzles are not included.
I installed this on my 07’ Speed3 to add auxilary fuel. It has 6 total ports, but like a review below I was only able to use the bottom one due to space issues from the stock intake manifold. All in all it paired nicely with AEM’s water/methanol kit and the 1000cc nozzle was flush on the inside of the spacer so that was a bonus. As for the product appearance it has a nice polished look and if running a FMIC kit you shouldn’t have to trim any intercooler cold side pipe.
Was totally impressed with the quality of this product. The ports work perfect for connecting methane system into it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for quality and fast shipping! My only downfall was the sticker they gave didnt have any stick to it/: lol
Bought this for my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 so i could port Methanol injection without having to drill into my intercooler piping. This is a great product and very well made (as is everything from Damond) but the only place I could fit a nozzle for my AEM kit was at the very bottom which is very difficult to get to without uninstalling the throttle body. Other than that great product!
Fit perfect now making some real power build Quality was awsome
I recently used this throttle body spacer to install a Cooling Mist nozzle on my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3. The only thing you have to watch out for is that certain injectors are longer than others. With my Cooling Mist nozzle, I had to run a tap further down the it to ensure it seated far enough into the Damond spacer so as to avoid spray pattern clipping. With other nozzles, this may not be an issue. But having to adapt when doing custom modifications to a car is to be expected.
I especially like that this spacer provides 6 mounting options. The flexibility this gives enabled me to find a spot that works perfectly and still clears my intake manifold, which is a close fit on top of the throttle body on a Mazdaspeed 3. I definitely recommend this product!
