Simple, 4-Point Signal & Power Hookup
No tapping into dozens of obscure wires. Beyond plugging in your injectors, the harness only requires four basic connections to get up and running:

12V Power: Cleanly tapped via the included add-a-fuse.

Engine Ground: Critical for signal noise isolation (should be grounded directly to the engine block/head, not the chassis).

Ignition Signal: Picked up from any single cylinder ignition coil with a PnP, removable harness (cylinder choice does not matter).

Load Signal: Connects to the MAF sensor on Mazdaspeed platforms, or the MAP sensor on Ford EcoBoost platforms, both with a PnP, removable harness.
Built-In Expansion Provision
The breakout harness using a 12-pin Deutsch connector (labeled "SPARE") serves as a pre-wired expansion port for future growth. It houses critical dedicated channels—including sensor ground, 5V reference power, flex-fuel signal, and temperature inputs—making it painless to pin in additional sensors or features down the road without modifying the main harness.
Future Development & Advanced Capabilities
The Microsquirt platform is packed with untapped potential. While the base kit focuses on rock-solid port injection fuel delivery out of the box, we are actively researching and developing expansions using the integrated expansion port.
Note: The potential capabilities below are in testing/development. Unlocking these features in the future will require tune updates, additional sensors pinned into the expansion connector, and an experienced tuner.
